Welcome to Parkland Go Green Presentation at Pete & C 2011-2012.
Session Number: BH22 Blog Tag: PETE12BH22 Program Title: Go Green - K-12 paperless projects/activities Session Time: BH Mon 11:45 Session Type: One Hour Session Location: Hotel Hershey Room: Overlook
Program Description: Parkland teachers will display some ways they integrated projects
and activities with "Going Green" in mind. See instructional strategies using moodle,
google docs, wikispaces, podcasting, iPods, kindles, and online lab activities. Teachers
will explain work with making an elementary class, middle school, and a high school
mathematics/physics classes paperless.
This session is designed to show you a snap shot of different grade levels and ways we
are thinking of "Going Green". We are currently searching ways to develop a BYOD
environment in the High School which would definitely help the cause of "Going Green."
Without a one-to-one environment it is hard to go completely paperless. Hopefully, in the
future we can change the name of this presentation to, "The Paperless Classroom." What
we are hoping that you see from this presentation are ways teachers at Parkland are
starting to think paperless and going green.
